Playing Lean Facilitator Training

Teaching Lean Startup or Business Modelling can be challenging. That is why with our Playing Lean Facilitator Training we will take you through two online trainings:

the Facilitator Training for Playing Lean and Business Modelling Facilitator Training.

We will teach you how to deliver great Playing Lean and Business Modelling workshops, using our Playing Lean 2 game and practical exercises, and make the lessons stick.

FACILITATOR TRAINING FOR PLAYING LEAN

Everyone can buy the Playing Lean game and play it with friends and colleagues, but holding an entire Playing Lean workshop is a different matter. 

With Facilitator Training for Playing Lean, you will get both the theory and practice you need to maximize the learning and become an expert facilitator!

The online training consists of three parts:

First, you will go through all the theory in video sessions and you can do it when it suits you.

The video sessions will give you:

• an introduction to Lean Startup that you can download and use afterwards
• insight into the Facilitator Theory, making sure you know all the tips and tricks we use ourselves to set up great events
• backstories for the Hospitality Experiment Cards, enabling you to teach lots of Lean Startup lessons as your games progress.

The second part is a group training session on Zoom. In the session, we will take you through the:

• in-person and remote setup of a Playing Lean 2 game,
• how to prepare for the workshop and get organized,
• the reading of experiment cards, and
• any questions you might have.

The third part is yourself in action! We will meet online, and each Playing Lean facilitator-to-be will facilitate at least two game rounds. You will receive immediate feedback on how to improve.

After that, you will receive your certificate and join our community of over 100 certified Playing Lean Facilitators!

As a Facilitator, you get access to a ready-to-use templates for an online Playing Lean game session, plus access to a lot of Playing Lean assets in PDFs, Powerpoints, graphics & pictures!

BUSINESS MODELLING FACILITATOR TRAINING

When teaching Business Modelling it's important to pace the learning journey correctly, going from introducing the minimum theoretical underpinnings to the practical part as soon as possible, but not too fast.

With this training, you get everything you need for facilitating your own Business Modelling workshops in one package:

In the Business Modelling Facilitator Training we focus on:

The Essential: What is a business model, why we do business modelling and why is business model innovation important.

You'll also get insight into the Business Model Canvas and Lean Canvas, taking you through each of the blocks of the two tools and explaining the structure and relationships of the canvasses. We also compare the tools conceptually and discuss which tool is preferable in different settings. 

The Practical: We go deep into a case study, using both the Business Model Canvas and Lean Canvas to map out AirBnB’s business model.

We compare the two tools again to see how they differ in a practical setting.

In the mapping exercise, we use ready-made stickers for canvasses that you can download and use as a Business Modelling Facilitator.

Execution: All templates and tools are available immediately for your complete use and reuse. Also, we'll show you how to integrate your own Business Modelling workshop with your training offerings, or if you're in education with your existing curriculum.

Also, with current gathering limitations in mind, we'll provide you with insight on how to deliver a Business Modelling Workshop 100% remote!
